Storytelling is a fundamental part of who we are as human beings; to convey core truth through the use of illusion and metaphor is a kind of magic. This body of work continues an ongoing exploration of narrative and surface spanning the past 2 years. There is a constant charge to build your own world within the works, the characters within are manifestations of situations and place. Caravel

Caravel continues to explore a displaced personal narrative of my own experiences through the familiar and unfamiliar places I have traveled, including but not limited to The American High Desert, Mexico, Andalusia, Portugal, Indonesia, and Australia.

One is both friend and foe, the characters are familiar but the narrative unknown. We are observed and we peek through the keyhole.
